The Jones Family

This is one of the most genuine families I have ever met. Their love for each other is totally evident in everything they do! Jessica, or should I say Mrs. Jones, has been such a special lady to me since day one of my drama-filled days of high school. As my seminar teacher, mentor and most importantly my friend, she has taught me so much! And we finally found a time to update some pictures of her adorable family. The last time they had family pictures taken was 6 years ago, and she's had the same desktop background on her school computer since I was a freshman, so this was a tad overdue :)

Her girls are beautiful! Such stunning eyes, and they were totally easy to take pictures of :)

Justice is a little looker too! Better keep an eye on him, 'cause I'm sure all the girls will be swooning over his good looks in no time :)

This just might be the cutest sibling bond ever. He just looks so protective of his precious sisters! :)

From the many sweet things she told us about Kurt during our seminar talks, I can gather that they make a pretty strong couple!

It's been a privilege to capture such sweet photos of these amazing people! Mrs. Jones, thank you for being such an encouragement to me and others and may God bless you and your family :)

Shaylee + Jacob : Married

Honestly, it feels a little strange to me to be typing up this blog post. My best friend just got married?! No way. It's all so surreal, that we're starting this whole "my friends are getting married" stage of life, though I don't think I could be more excited about it! The whole day was absolutely breath-taking, down to the last detail. Basically, it was an honor to capture this entire thing.

Can I just put in my two cents and say that the back of her dress was PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

Her bouquet was one of the most special pieces of the day. In memory of her dad, a tiny framed picture was attached to have him right there with her every step down the aisle.

When it comes to this ring picture, I die. Did I really take that?? Cause it looks like I just snagged it from Pinterest.

His 'first look' reaction was definitely something Shay told me she wasn't expecting, seeing as he isn't a very publicly emotional guy. However, I think the grin on his face is special enough! I mean, how could you not smile at this walking towards you?

This sign was a pain in the rear end to make, but turned out pretty beautiful if I do say so myself :) Part photographer, part wedding designer?

This next picture really strikes a soft spot in me. Definitely a tear-jerking "father-daughter dance" shared with her big brother, Stacey. I think it's a good one to end this blog post on.
Shaylee & Jacob, thank you for choosing me to be apart of this day. You have both been so dear to me and I can't think of a better match than the two of you! Stick close to God in your walk through this crazy new life together and I can't wait to love on and spoil your little cutie when she arrives :)
